Comic Book Wedding...

I instantly fell in love with how cute the bride and grooms outfits were... then I saw yellow and then I saw a comic strip of their engagement and I was sold! They really thought of cute details for this wedding, like lemons as decor, cute cafeteria style trays for food, bow ties on glassware and an adorable cover for the beer keg!!! I wish I could have been a guest at this wedding, I bet it was a blast! Enjoy!!!

Also I love the pink and yellow together... I would never have thought those colours would look so amazing together!!!

Queen Elisabeth...

Yesterday morning I was talking to my grandma and she mention that the Ottawa Citizen had done a feature on the Queen's visit to Canada and all the hats she had been wearing. It got me thinking about politics and how Canada doesn't really have a leading lady... the US has Michelle, England has the Queen, France has Cecilia & Thailand has Queen Sirikit. To be honest I couldn't even tell you what Steven Harper's [our PM] wife looks like or if she has good style? Anyways... I am just thinking out loud here... now to the post...

I decided to feature a few of the lovely hats Miss Elisabeth has worn over the years. On a more fashion related note... I used to work for a millinery and it was a lovely job creating those hats, they are just the epitome of femininity. It was lovely meeting the ladies and helping them choose a hat to go with their outfit and their event! Enjoy!

Black & White...

Here's another dress I snagged at H&M last week and I love it!!!! It's cotton and free flowing and will be great for the hot summer days ahead of us! A little update on the collection.... 2 skirts, a dress, 2 tops and a pair of shorts DONE!!!! It's so exciting I can't wait to get some pics up for everyone to see!!! Enjoy!

Walking on Sunshine...

Last week I cleaned up at H&M while the lovely Rachel was down, this is one of the many dresses I acquired! It's for the Fashion Against Aids Collection and the colour is beautiful... the best part is it takes on different colours in the sunlight! Rachel and I had a great time taking these pics and there are more to come! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy!!

I was instantly taken with this wedding because of the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses... they are all different styles and vintage! It's to die for... not to mention the head piece the bride is wearing! They keep the vintage feel with a remodeled car and lollipops on all the tables! Enjoy!!!

Hair Inspiration...

Lately I have been obsessed with my hair and trying to style it differently, with that said I have also become obsessed with braids! They have really made a comeback and I love it. I think they are so cute and womanly, but yet done properly they can be very sexy!
